May I add gone is the glory of Coptic Alexandria and all her intellectual and spiritual elites today, but Christ remains!!!

  1. I received a one-decade rosary as a baptismal gift from a Syriac Orthodox friend of mine. He used to live in Iraq. He had a spiritual mentor there in Iraq–a priest. One day, his car broke down on the way to church…that day, his entire church was destroyed and pillaged by hostile Islamic belligerents. Everyone–including his spiritual mentor–were killed.
